I have a problem.
My amp has broken :(
I was playing in the garden yesterday when, without warning, the sound cut out.
Upon closer inspection, it is the distortion channel which is busted.
This means I can no longer play with my scratchy, angry sound.
As I am a greb (apparently) I use the distortion channel more than the clean sound.
This means I am VERY VERY VERY annoyed.
So, there will be less guitar-y type things on this blog for a while, until I get a new one.
:@
It does mean, however, that my bandmate's plea to 'write something a bit softer' may actually happen :P.
But I am still very angry.

I count the days to find
What was left behind
Only these names I clutch
Will lead me to my home

My World
Came up with a lovely chord pattern that was screaming out for some lyrics, so here they are.
My World
Come to me
Let me be free
Come to me
Show me what it means
To be free…
To be free…
Dream away
A life not worth living
Spoilt anyway
Right from the beginning
Be free…
Be free…
I don’t want you
You don’t need me
I want you
To be free
I want you to be free…
Welcome to my world
Please enjoy your stay
There’s not much to see
But it’s pleasant anyway
Welcome to my world
Please enjoy your stay
There’s not much to see
‘Cause the rest has burnt away
I don’t want you
You don’t need me
I want you
To be free
To be free
To be free
To be free…

Optical Illusion
Probably won't fit to the riff of the same name on the LunarC page, but I think the title is more suited to this than that.
Optical Illusion
Open your eyes
You’re walking blind
Blind to the world
Your apathetic mind
So much more
That you can’t see
Keep your head down
And follow the routine
Like the unspoken voice
Like you don’t have a choice
Like the unspoken voice
Like you don’t have a choice
One man at the top
And hundreds below
Stick to what you know
They lead; you follow
Do you think
They really care?
Does it matter to them
If it’s fair?
Like the unspoken voice
Like you don’t have a choice
Like the unspoken voice
Like there isn’t a choice
Like you don’t realise
Like you don’t see the lies
Like you don’t want to know
Like you follow the flow
Too expensive to continue; too expensive to turn back…
Like their unspoken voice
Like they don’t have a choice
Like the unspoken voice
Lie, they don’t have a choice.

Disorder!
Lately, it seems, my taste in music had taken a radical shift to what you might call the left-wing of the music spectrum.
I've started to take big interest in bands such as Rage Against the Machine and System of a Down, who both have EXTREMELY politically charged lyrics.
Am I getting a bit too anti-system?
I now want to dye my hair blue.
I think I might be going a bit punk and anarchist (if not on the outside, then on the inside; in my thoughts, in the way I analyse things, and in the way I see things around me).
The prospect of doing something that would make people shocked... I find it really exciting. I want to do something to get me noticed... To make me stand out.
I want to make a stand against something; the system, the machine.
I want to say no to everyone who tells me not to do this or that.
I want to make them see that I don't take it lying down.
And the only way I can see to do this is though my lyrics and my music.
So, I've been writing a lot of heavy, metal riffs and jarring lyrics to thrust together and try to convey a message.
I might put some on here; I want to see feedback.

What do you own, the world?
How do you own disorder?
Somewhere between the sacred silence and sleep...
Disorder, disorder!
